What type of vehicle is picking me up on the shuttle?

Our vans are 12 passenger tourism vans with full INS (National Insurance Institute) coverage, air conditioning, and roof racks.

How long is the Nosara-LIR Airport drive?

2.5 hrs or less, depending on traffic and the state or our roads, especially during the rainy season. Travelers are required to check-in at their respective airline counters a minimum of 2 hrs. ahead of their flight, so you should plan to leave 5 hrs ahead of your scheduled departure.

Are pets allowed on the shuttle?

We love pets but unfortunately cannot carry them on the shuttle unless they are service dogs. If you need to travel with pets, please let us know and we will reserve a private cab for you, and if traveling with service dogs, crates and certifications should always be handy.

I missed my connecting flight/my flight was delayed. What should I do?

We ask that all passengers contact us via phone, WhatsApp or e-mail as soon as they know they have missed their connecting flight or will be significantly delayed and we will gladly arrange for a regular cab pick-up. The regular cab fare is $149-$199 USD.

I arrived on time but have been detained in baggage claim. What should I do?

If you need a few minutes to sort out paperwork, please step outside momentarily, call us, or email us to let us know you have arrived. This will help us arrange for a long wait until you are ready to leave, or get you a private cab to take you to Nosara if necessary.

How will I find you once my flight lands?

A Gypsy Cab representative will be expecting you at the airport with a sign. Our drivers hold GYPSY CAB CO logo boards and are looking for you as you exit the airport.

I can’t find the driver. What should I do?

If it’s been several minutes and you can’t locate a Gypsy Cab rep, head to the information desk. We are affiliated members of the Liberian Chamber of Commerce and the information desk at the airport can always contact us directly to assist.

I need to make a stop on the way to the airport. Is that ok?

Very quick stops to use restrooms or buy snacks are allowed but please note that this is a shared service, and although you may not be pressed for time, your travel companions may have earlier flights, therefore please make sure stops are 5 minutes or less!

–Private services can stop at any point along the way, and it is always helpful if our drivers know this ahead of time.–

I’m hosting an event and need transportation for larger groups, multiple trips, or transfers to and from other destinations. Can we use your services?

Yes! The Gypsy Shuttle is just one of the many services our company provides. We can assist with anything from multiple shuttles and private cab services, as well as transfers to any location in the country. Contact us with travel details to receive a quote.

When should I reserve my transfer?

Gypsy Cab Nosara has a 24 hr. Reservation Policy to ensure that a vehicle will be available to you on the date requested, as well as a written confirmation with their transfer details. Because we answer requests on a first come first serve basis and need to confirm your reservation directly, we ask that you submit your request a minimum of 24 hrs. prior to your travel date.
